This is a great opportunity for an experienced analyst to join a successful data team within an exciting, growing business. You’ll need to dive straight in - we’re looking for someone who loves problem solving and is excited by a challenge. This role will support the business by driving insight into business questions. You’ll work on a wide range of data sets, alongside the wider team, to increase data visibility and produce key reports for our key stakeholders. Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based remotely; however we do like to meet up from time to time to collaborate and share ideas. Overview: · Deliver day-to-day analysis and insight; working with a range of teams across the business to help power data-driven decision making. · Use our data to help understand client behaviours and market trends and identify opportunities for growth. · Help stakeholders understand the metrics we’re targeting at a business level and design new ways to improve visibility of them. · Develop your business-wide knowledge to understand the interaction between different parts of the business, and how that impacts our analysis. · Mentor more junior analysts, helping them to develop their technical skill set. Knowledge: · SQL coding · Data visualisation tools e.g. PowerBI · Knowledge of the insurance industry would be helpful but not essential Skills: · Restless curiosity – we spend our time problem solving. · Good analytical mindset – do you like puzzles? · Clear communicator – ability to translate complex data into simple messages.
