In this role you will add value to PXP by: As a Head of Business Development, you will be accountable for leading the Business Development team members, within a complex and consultative sales process, from (cold) lead generation to a signed legal agreement with the client and further supporting the wider PXP internal teams for the ‘go-live’, making sure the committed volumes are realised after ‘go-live’. This role also involves hands-on direct business development and sales duties and lead generational targets. A typical week as an Head of Business Development might involve: Driving our Net revenue targets (direct targets and multi-disciplined team targets). Leading and providing hand-on expertise in closing profitable business quickly and efficiently in individual and joined-up solutions throughout EMEA is key. Targeting qualified prospects and customers in appropriate sectors through direct sales activities. Identifying, prioritising and developing new sector verticals, channels and clients for acceptance & issuing solutions to maximise revenues. Partnering with the Product team to identify and develop our product range and introduce new products based on customer and competitor insights and / or needs. Bringing experience and network to the role at PXP Financial, to support brand exposure and sales lead attraction. Generating earnings growth and putting PXP Financial on the map. Ensuring that the optimal use of appropriate CRM systems and sales measurement mechanics and ensure the adoption of best-in-class CRM and sales approaches. Taking self-generated leads & also from the marketing team and convert them into business. Making certain that close, day-to-day, collaborative working relationships develop with other core teams outside of the commercial function. People management and leadership responsibilities within Business Development team. We are looking for someone who: Leads by example and enable truly high performance within the business development team. Excels in a complex and fast-moving business and environment. Has at least 5 years proven new business sales track record in an international and quota-carrying B2B sales role. Has vast exposure or familiarity with technological and financial concepts. Holds prior strong experience in the payments industry. Has advanced verbal and written, business English language skills. Has strong mathematical and analytical skills. Possesses good knowledge of excel and CRM tools. Is conversant in payments and technology, with a solid understanding of the e-commerce, POS and Omni-channel landscape. Is pro-active, hardworking, with a history of over-achievement. Is hungry for success. Has experience in the Gaming industry.
