We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Burnfoot. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely deliveries and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
* Monitor inventory levels, process orders, and manage stock control.
* Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics activities.
* Manage the distribution of goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Identify areas for improvement within the logistics process and recommend solutions.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Track and report on logistics performance, including delivery times, cost analysis, and customer satisfaction.
* Update the Shipping Log Requirements (SLR) system, tracking the status of shipments from planning through to delivery.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of transport regulations and best practices.
* A full, clean driving license is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards and regulations.
* A proactive and flexible approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
