The Brackenrigg Inn has recently been acquired by Another Place hotel collection as an extension to the experience at Another Place, The Lake. Our vision is to take the ethos from our hotel and extend it to this new pub with rooms - where warm hospitality and contemporary comfort combine with views over Ullswater and the fells.
Over the last 12 months we’ll undertake a bold redevelopment, including a new interior design scheme which will reposition the business targeting visitors, hotel guests and locals for excellent local food and drink.

What your days could look like:
We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic new team members with attention to detail, organisational skills to join our operations team at The Brackenrigg Inn. It is a varied role that will give you a taste of all the aspects that go into making a busy operation run like clockwork.
In housekeeping
* Support our busy housekeeping team by giving them a boost on our busiest of days by: stripping beds, emptying bins and taking away dirty glasses, crockery and cutlery
* Stocking and maintaining all our housekeeping cupboards and pantries
* Supply the team with products, equipment, and linen they need to service and clean
* Keep our corridors clean and clear of any laundry and equipment that has been used in the rooms
In our kitchen and behind the scenes
* Make sure that our chemical spray guns blue towel dispensers are filled and replenished
* Ensure waste bins are emptied regularly
* Wash dishes and cutlery making sure all areas have enough to use (this will include using our dish washers)
* Polish cutlery ready for our bar and waiting teams to use
* Clean and sanitise our kitchens and back of house corridor floors
* Wash and polish glasses
* Make sure our bar team have enough products to use
In our restaurant and bar
* Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, timely and relaxed yet professional manner
* Work in all areas of the restaurant and bar
* Keep the area you’re responsible for clean, tidy and organised
* Work together, as part of our committed, efficient and dynamic team
