Miryco Consultants are working exclusively with a global insurance group, seeking a Group Senior Risk Manager to support the enterprise risk strategy, focusing on embedding and enhancing the risk management framework across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Group Risk Director in embedding and developing the risk management framework globally.
* Align risk reporting strategy with organizational objectives, identifying potential risks that could impact goals.
* Conduct risk assessments, analyse current mitigation, identify emerging risks, and recommend solutions.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders, providing risk management guidance and consultation.
* Contribute to the implementation of the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) across the organization.
* Address urgent risk issues and perform ad-hoc assessments as needed.
* Collaborate with other teams, such as Internal Audit and Legal, to improve effectiveness.
Requirements:
* Experience in a second-line risk management role within the UK financial services and insurance sector.
* Practical implementation experience of a risk framework in a global business.
* Proven track record of identifying gaps and leading remediation.
* Experience with RMIS implementation projects.
* Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
* Competent in MS Office, including Excel (Macros, V-Lookups, Pivot tables).
* Leadership and prior experience in 2LOD oversight and challenge activities.
* Previous people and budget management experience is a plus.

Salary: Up to £105,000
