An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Community Payback Officer to join our Community Payback Service on a permanent basis.

Position Details
Community Payback Orders are sentences served in the community rather than prison, by a person convicted of a lower level (or lower tariff) crime in court to ensure that those who commit offences pay their dues to the communities that they have harmed and to reduce the risk that the person will re-offend.
Our Community Payback Officers supervise and co-ordinate squad placements, which includes – supervising offenders serving community payback orders, ensuring the smooth running of an effective and efficient squad whilst on site, preparation of squad work plans for identified site visits, providing basic training to clients on the use of equipment and completion of tasks where necessary, and the monitoring and assessing of work performance of clients whilst on sit to ensure timescales are met.

A driving licence and having served a recognised apprenticeship or having equivalent experience relevant to the post are essential requirements of this role.
Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35 per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am – 5pm
Annual Salary: £28,.76 - £33,.52 on an incremental scale
