HR Administrator

Salary: £27,000-£30,000 FTE DOE
Job Type: Permanent 30 hours per week/6 hours per day
We are a care company based near to Cheltenham/Gloucester that is growing and focused on achieving great outcomes for the young people in our residential care typically aged 8 to 18 years old. We also have three schools providing access to SEN education. Our young people have had traumatic backgrounds, and we work towards developing and supporting them towards positive outcomes, to live happy and fulfilled lives. The current staff role numbers 167 and you would be part of a small head office support function based in Staunton, Gloucestershire.
Are you an organised and detail-oriented HR professional looking to develop your career in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an HR Administrator to join our team and provide essential support to our HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and issue offer letters and employment contracts.
* Draft and process variation letters, including probation confirmations, changes to hours/pay, and maternity updates.
* Ensure timely and accurate HR updates to payroll.
* Assist with policy amendments and provide advice to managers on HR-related queries.
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment law.
* Support the wider HR team with general administrative tasks and projects.
* Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for candidates and hiring teams.
* Meet and greet candidates, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR administration role.
Experience in administering safe recruitment desired.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
