The Graphic Designer & Digital Marketing Officer is a key member of the Marketing and Admissions Team, which includes: • Head of Marketing and Admissions • Admissions Registrar • Admissions Officer • Digital Content & Social Media Officer Accountable To Head of Marketing and Admissions Main Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Graphic Design and Publications: • Design and produce high-quality printed and digital publications, including brochures, newsletters, leaflets, and event materials. • Develop creative and engaging visuals for advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and online content. • Ensure all design work aligns with the school’s brand guidelines and visual identity. Digital Marketing and Content Creation: • Design and create digital assets for email campaigns and the school website. • Assist in the development and execution of digital advertising campaigns across relevant platforms. • Support the Digital Content and Social Media Officer in producing engaging video and multimedia content to enhance the school’s online presence. Website and Digital Advertising Management: • Assist in the management of the school’s website, ensuring content is visually appealing and optimised for user experience. • Support the planning and execution of paid digital advertising campaigns to promote the school. Brand Guardianship: • Support the planning and execution of paid digital advertising campaigns to promote the school. • Provide design support and guidance to internal departments to maintain brand standards. • Ensure all external-facing communications reflect the school’s values, ethos, and visual identity. Event Support: • Work closely with the Marketing and Admissions Team to support promotional activities and events. • Assist in the planning and execution of open days, events, and other marketing initiatives. • Support internal teams with design and marketing requirements as needed. General Marketing: • Work with the Head of Marketing and Admissions to update online school directories and publications. • Responsible for marketing merchandise – ordering, stock-taking, replenishing. • Provide all necessary administration support and undertake any other duties as and when required Ideal Candidate: Essential Skills and Experience • A qualification in Graphic Design. Experience in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. • Proven experience in graphic design and digital marketing, preferably in an education or not-for-profit setting. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tools. • Experience creating digital design for websites and email marketing campaigns. • Knowledge of website content management systems (WordPress or similar) and basic HTML skills. • Strong understanding of branding, typography, and layout principles. • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a creative, proactive mindset. Desirable Skills • Knowledge of SEO and PPC advertising. • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp. • An interest in or experience with the education sector. General • Undertaking general administrative and IT tasks in other departmental areas if required to ensure the smooth running of the school, which may include undertaking routine and exceptional duties as required. • Attending and taking part in all relevant meetings with colleagues as required. • Participating in the school’s system of professional review. • Participating in aspects of staff development as relevant to the role and the department, including attending appropriate training on in-service days. • Becoming familiar with and implementing school policies; to be responsible for a safe, healthy environment. • Helping to create and promote an image of the school which is in accordance with its aims.
