We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee our portfolio of sites along the M1 corridor, covering areas such as Leicester, Nottingham, and London. This role is crucial in ensuring that the properties within your portfolio provide a safe, warm, and dry environment for both staff and residents. You'll also collaborate with central teams to maintain compliance with business standards and relevant legislation. As the technical lead, you will oversee all aspects of building maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and fabric work, with a particular focus on life safety systems such as fire alarms and smoke ventilation systems. You will be the primary point of contact for site-based teams, managing their inquiries and expectations, resolving issues remotely, and occasionally in person when on-site. Additionally, you will work closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure they consistently deliver high-quality service in a timely manner, addressing poor performance and building strong working relationships. This is a home-based position, but regular travel to sites within your portfolio is required. (Our preferred travel method is by train, and the company will cover train bookings and payments in advance). About you: We are looking to speak with individuals who have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or demonstrable experience (3 years minimum) and hold a NEBOSH General Certificate.
