The Governors, staff and children at Christ Church C.E Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent and hardworking classroom practitioner to share in our vision within our school. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for a professional who has a passion for the teaching and the learning of children and who is committed to our Christian values of COMPASSION, RESPECT, CARE, LOVE and FORGIVENESS and our school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF. The school has an Executive Head teacher and works in partnership with Lewis Street and Lark Hill Primary Schools. The school has Place2Be, an on-site therapeutic counselling service.
The successful candidate:
* Is an excellent classroom practitioner and has experience of working in Key Stage 2
* Is able to demonstrate a knowledge of children’s development
* Is able to plan and differentiate to meet the needs of all groups of pupils
* Values teamwork and has experience of deploying additional adults to ensure progress
* Is committed and understands the importance of experiential learning
* Has high expectations of themselves and all pupils and places relationships at the core of their practice.
* Models excellent teaching and professional standards for the whole school community
* Promotes and models the school and Christian values
* Promotes and models the school vision including infusing honesty and integrity into all of school life
* Creates a stimulating, supportive, organised, interactive and informative learning environment that encourages each child to achieve his/her full potential
* Will be hard working and have enthusiasm, energy and creativity
* Develops high quality professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents, carers and Governors
* Understands the functions of behaviour and have experience of positive behaviour management strategies and a commitment to the school’s policy.
