Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Retail Assistant to join our team working at RAF Lossiemouth, Moray, IV31 6SD. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating tills, checking stock, restocking goods, arranging merchandise displays, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and tidy workspace. This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, (5 /7 days, weekend working required on rotation). Shifts range between 06:30 with latest finish at 20:30, Monday to Friday, weekend shift is 09:45-14:15, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary/hospitality. A day in the life of a Retail Assistant: Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark. Perform basic food preparation and made to order services including hot/cold food in line with Aramark brand standards. Take payment and keep financial records as required. Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise. Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so. Clean and tidy counter, light equipment, public areas. Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the course of the work. Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements. You will be set up for success if you have: Resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work. Are able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Post Office and/or Retail experience is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided. Customer service experience desirable.
