The Senior Medical Electronics Technician is responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of a broad spectrum of medical electronic devices, many of which are highly specialised, complex, and technologically advanced, requiring an in-depth knowledge of current engineering techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out planned maintenance, repair, calibration, and servicing of specialist medical equipment.
2. Acceptance test new equipment.
3. Train medical and technical staff in the use of medical devices.
4. Take a lead role in major installations.
