We are currently seeking a hands-on Cluster Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in a role which primarily oversees five hotels, consisting of two properties in Bristol, one in Cardiff, Poole and the Bahamas while also providing support to our other hotels.
As Cluster Sales Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst identifying new business opportunities to continuously grow market share.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, maintaining a good pipeline, and maximising revenue opportunities across all areas of the hotels, which will include corporate accommodation, groups, tours, meetings, events and food and beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the preparation of the hotel’s annual operating budget, monthly forecasts and financial plans.
* Achieve your budgeted revenue and personal sales goals to increase occupancy, RevPar, ADR, RevPam, and so maximize the hotels profitability. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
* Foster strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies to retain existing business, generate leads and secure contracts for corporate accommodation, M&E and groups and tours.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Keep abreast of corporate specialised accommodation and meeting segments such as airline, government, pharmaceutical, sports, entertainment, technology and automotive.
* Mentor and motivate the hotel teams to be sales and revenue focused to boost the hotels overall revenue, in particular with front office, reservations, and food and beverage teams.
* Assist the hotel General Manager in increasing sleeper diner ratios and F&B per person spend to achieve strong TrevPar at hotels.
* Collaborate with the General Managers to assist them with any local marketing and social media campaigns.
* Represent Eclipse Hotels Group at agent events, trade shows and hotel brand meetings to promote our franchise.
Job Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience corporate and M&E hospitality sales management within a branded hotel environment.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing the best possible deals for the hotels.
* A strong knowledge of the M&E, groups and corporate markets.
* To be proactive, composed, enthusiastic and approachable, with the ability to build rapport with clients, guests and to motivate the teams under pressure.
* Outstanding customer relationship and complaint handling management skills.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with an eye for detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of hotel sales and revenue management practices.
* Adaptability: Being able to quickly change focus between tasks as needed whilst managing multiple responsibilities without losing track of important deadlines or quality.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Force, PMS systems and other sales tools such as Agency 360.
