The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring fire safety compliance across a wide range of properties. These include private residential developments, from low-rise to high-rise blocks of flats, as well as commercial buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting fire risk assessments in accordance with UK regulations and standards, such as PAS 79.
Attend client sites to complete and provide Health, Safety and Fire Risk Assessments.
Undertake any key projects and assist with office operations.
Provide a high level of technical support.
Regulatory review report systems/codes and Health & Safety information up to legal requirements.The Fire Risk Assessor will have
Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments, ideally across both residential and commercial properties.
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Relevant fire safety qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Certificate, IFE Level 3, or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
