We are recruiting for experienced Project Managers to join the team at Sizewell B power station on a permanent basis.
Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible; however, the role will predominantly be based at the Power Station. Key responsibilities will be:

1. Accountable to the client PPM for successful delivery of all aspects of assigned projects.
2. Set the project execution strategy in agreement with the client PPM.
3. Use a cross-functional project team to deliver the project safely in line with company policies and procedures.
4. Achieve established goals and objectives within the agreed baseline.
5. Report to the business Operations Manager and be accountable for project delivery directly to the client.

Strong communication and organisational skills are a must, with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks while being results-focused tempered with a team-centred approach.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree educated, ideally in engineering or a related subject, with preferred Chartership.
2. APMP formal project management qualification or equivalent, versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organisations.
3. Thorough understanding and knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction, and installation/commissioning management, and commercial contracting.
4. Able to demonstrate an understanding of Safety Cases, including how they are developed and implemented.
5. Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety and Environment legislation, including CDM, and actions required to achieve compliance.
6. Good understanding of quality assurance and control, with relevant experience of commercial, contractual, and financial project drivers.
7. Demonstrable experience of managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ideally across a range of complex multi-discipline projects and environments.
8. Experience managing an integrated project team including staff, agency, and assigned functional support.
9. Experience in estimating, cost control, planning, and commercial awareness, including preparation of business cases and sanction/funding papers.
10. Experienced in preparing reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in estimating, scheduling, programming, risk tools, and Earned Value tools.
11. Analytical approach with high-level problem-solving ability.
12. Experience of working at Power Stations and Nuclear Licensed Sites is preferred but not essential.
