Setting a clear vision for future ways of working, ensuring clinical workflows and digital capabilities are aligned with estate and service transformation. Serving as a core member of key digital steering groups and boards, chairing as appropriate, and providing expert clinical guidance. Leading the clinical design of the model of care, supporting service transformation and future-proofed delivery across our pathways. Facilitating engagement with academic partners to leverage data for research and innovation. Convening and supporting a broader group of clinical leaders to actively participate in digital transformation programmes. Overseeing the strategic development, procurement, deployment, optimisation, and enhancement of clinical systems that underpin safe and effective care. Ensuring clinicians are empowered to use data and digital tools to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Operating and overseeing clinical safety assessments for all digital implementations and system changes. Ensuring digital programmes strike the right balance between improving performance, reducing delays in patient pathways, enhancing quality of care, and maintaining robust data security and confidentiality. Supporting deployment of digital systems across all clinical areas and taking on specific leadership responsibilities within key projects. Delivering tangible benefits and performance metrics in line with business cases for technology investment. Proactively addressing digital exclusion, recognising varied levels of digital literacy across stakeholders and tailoring engagement and communication accordingly.
