In response to the Climate Emergency and need for Net Zero Products, JCB Engineers have developed the first hydrogen motor in our industry. It’s a real R&D challenge. Take a concept and produce a reality, demonstrate it, productionise it and see it in the marketplace.
JCB Propulsion Engineering are responsible for design and development of hydrogen motors and transmissions used in JCB’s off highway vehicles. We also produce a range of generator sets.
Due to our expanding Hydrogen programs, we are looking for propulsion engineers with experience in the mechanical and electrical design and development of:
1. Reciprocating engines
2. Transmissions and axles
3. Generator sets
4. Integration of drivetrain/braking/cooling/fuel systems into machines
5. Electronics, Controls & Calibration
6. Performance & Emissions
7. Regulatory Affairs and Homologation
JCB Propulsion Engineering is undertaken at three sites on the edge of the Peak District and one in North East Wales.
