Fleet Manager Required - North London - Construction - Fleet of 65 Vehicles I am looking for a skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to join my clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and a passion for maintaining a well-organised and efficient fleet of over 65 Vehicles. Position Overview: The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, efficiently utilised, and compliant with all relevant regulations. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong leadership skills to manage a diverse fleet of vehicles with the knowledge of FORS Accreditation. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the company’s fleet, ensuring vehicles are in good working order. Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimise vehicle utilisation, reduce operating costs, and improve efficiency. Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Monitor fuel usage, track vehicle performance, and analyse fleet data to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate contracts and maintain cost-effective services. Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related activities, including maintenance schedules, service history, and compliance documentation. Ensure all vehicles are properly insured and that fleet compliance with licensing, registration, and environmental regulations is up to date. Lead a team of drivers and support staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Prepare and manage fleet budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency in all areas of fleet management. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role within fleet or transportation management.
