POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsibilities Include:
1. Working with Prestige Vehicles, Supercars, Electric & Hybrid Vehicles.
2. You must have previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy Bodyshop.
3. The successful candidate will be assessing damaged vehicles and providing estimates in line with correct researched methods of repair using Audatex & the EMACS Bodyshop System.
4. Candidate will be responsible for liaising with customers and insurance companies face to face to explain repairs to be carried out using knowledge gained from method research.
5. Ensuring all estimates compiled are done so by using manufacturer methodology to ensure vehicle is repaired back to manufacturer standards.
6. Ensuring any supplementary work is submitted and authorised by the authorising party.
7. Once authority is received, liaise with the workshop departments to produce job card and method pack to commence repairs.
8. Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved at all times.
9. Knowledge and ability to work with Computer based systems such as EMACS & AUDATEX.
10. Must be able to demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of the vehicle repair industry with a desire to continually learn new techniques and processes.
11. Knowledge and understanding of electric vehicles and ultra-high strength steels and repair methods.
12. Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience and Skills:
1. You will be required to liaise with customers and insurance engineers communicating in a polite and professional manner at all levels, with a smart appearance and a keen eye for detail.
2. Be a strong team player with self-motivation, also able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
3. Attention to detail and excellent communication and IT skills.
4. The pride and attention to detail to complete each job to the very best of your ability and manufacturer standards.
5. Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicle estimates are ready to agreed timescales.
6. Ability to work as part of a Team and have a flexible approach to the job role and the needs of the business.
7. An honest and diligent approach to work is required with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality of work.
Qualifications:
1. The candidate must have at least 3 years working within the Automotive Repair Industry in a Vehicle Damage Assessor role (this is essential).
2. Up to date Audatex Certification.
3. A.T.A. Certified.
4. Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 am - 06:00 pm
Saturday: 08:00 am - 12:00 pm (on a rotational basis).
Salary:
Competitive; to be discussed during the interview.
Location:
Birmingham or Solihull (dependant on requirement).

Full-Time - Office Based.
