Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: M19 Manchester
You will be responsible for the day-to-day care for our young people in a 3-bed Children's home for children and young people with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) difficulties from age 7 years old to 17 years old.
40 hours per week and average 2 sleep-ins per week, occasional waking nights to meet the needs of the children/young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to achieve the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's Mission Statement and Values.
* To support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
* To ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated.
* To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
* To offer supervision and support to staff in line with National Minimum Standards and as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
* QCF 3/4 Health and Social, Children and Young People
* Physical aggression - experienced in using trained safe PMVA
* 3 Years experience of working within a Residential Ofsted environment
* Have experience with challenging young people
* MUST hold a full UK driver's license
* Strong knowledge around Ofsted regulations
* Use of IT systems such as clear care.
