Go Security Ltd is seeking experienced retail security officers for permanent positions in Exeter.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular patrols throughout the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
* Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to suspicious activities promptly.
* Provide a visible and approachable presence to reassure shoppers and maintain a secure environment.
* Assist customers with inquiries, provide directions, and offer support as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
* Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and other incidents, ensuring the safety of visitors and staff.
* Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to resolve security issues effectively.
* Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports as required.
* Enforce site's policies and procedures, including parking regulations and access control measures.
* Work closely with management and other security team members to develop and implement strategies for improving security measures.
Requirements:
* Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
* Able to provide a 5-year work & address history that can be checked according to pre-employment screening in accordance with BS7858:2019.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Good command of the English language.
* Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging circumstances.
* Ability to collaborate with local businesses and organizations.
* Demonstrated capability to handle anti-social behavior and serious conditions.
* Effective communication and collaboration with law enforcement authorities.
Hours / Pay:
* Rate of Pay: £12.44 per hour
* Availability to work flexible shifts is required.
