You must be ambitious & enthusiastic; retail experience is ideal but not essential as full training will be given. Also, experience in a Supervisory role will be advantageous as our part time team members are encouraged to run shifts and may be doing so from time to time.
Outlined below are some of your key result areas to deliver on, and together with your experience and passion we think we will have a great team.
We will pay over 21's a basic rate of £11.70 per hour with a 30p per hour attendance bonus to give a combined rate of £12 per hour. The attendance bonus is awarded providing you attend all shifts stated on the rota within each month.
All successful candidates will be required to complete training to become a shift runner within a reasonable timescale from start date. Once you have passed the shift runner training module, the attendance bonus increases to 40p per hour hour to give a combined rate of £12.10 per hour.
Key Role Responsibilities include:
· Assisting customers with their purchases
· Checking off deliveries from suppliers, booking these onto the system and putting the Stock away on the shop floor
· Using EPOS system for payment and stock checks
· Pricing and merchandising stock
· Offloading deliveries, involves lifting
· You must be numerate, literate and have a good level of PC Skills to complete this role
· Shift running will form part of your job role.
You will average 16 hours per week which can vary up or down, this will include regular weekend working, and flexibility is essential.
