The TUC is looking for a Policy Officer to contribute to our work on employment rights and wider labour market policy.
This position has been created to boost the TUC’s policy capacity at a time of significant shifts in the UK labour market. The role will support our response to both new legislation and a rapidly changing economy.
It will suit someone who is as comfortable analysing government data as they are writing a briefing for our General Secretary and who has a strong commitment to delivering better outcomes for working people.
What key experience, skills, knowledge and understanding do you need?
You will need:
* Experience in evidence-based policy development on issues related to employment rights and/or labour markets
* Experience initiating and carrying through qualitative or quantitative research projects
* Confident skills in evaluating and communicating a range of data sources from legal material to quantitative data
