Overview of role

As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for ensuring our customers' vehicles are finished to the highest standard and looking perfect when they leave the bodyshop ready for collection.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
* To prepare, paint and finish vehicles ensuring that all stages are completed to the highest standard and within the time specified.
* To report and seek advice on any problems highlighted during the paint spraying process.
* To provide technical advice where necessary to the Manager and/or customers.
* To assist in providing on-the-job instruction to Apprentices in order that they develop the practical skills required.
* To ensure that all work is carried out with due regard to Health, Safety and Welfare of both employees and customers.
* To maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and tidy condition.
* To assist the Body centre management team with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.
* To carry out any other duties as requested.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of, and experience of adhering to, COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
* Experience of working in line with robust health and safety, environmental and recycling policies.
* Commitment to understanding and meeting the customer’s needs, to maintain the professional reputation of the facility.
* Strong time management and organisational skills, to ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times.
* Good attention to detail, to ensure that all repairs are carried out to the highest possible standard, and in line with best practice procedures.
