Our client, a busy education centre is looking for a skilled chef to join their team. This role involves preparing fresh, nutritious meals for groups of children and young people in a friendly, community-focused setting.
Benefits & Hours:
*36 hours per week
*Mon - Thurs: 12:00 - 19:30, Friday: 07:30 - 13:30,
*Occasional weekends with days given in lieu for any worked
*31 day holiday entitlement + bank holidays off

Responsibilities:
*Prepare and cook meals for large groups, catering to dietary requirements.
*Supervise a small kitchen team of chefs, ensuring smooth service.
*Maintain high food hygiene standards and complete kitchen records.
*Help create a positive dining experience that encourages independence and healthy choices.
What We're Looking For:
*Experience in high-volume catering is preferred.
*Knowledge of special diets and allergies desired
*A Chef with a good knowledge of basic food hygiene legislation to ensure the kitchen maintains its 5-star Food Hygiene rating.
*NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) & food hygiene certification.
*A proactive, organised & adaptable team player.
