About the Role:
To support and assist with the day-to-day running of the operational activities within the business. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Construction Team to provide end-to-end client engagement from receipt of acceptance to completion of works .
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Process work requests taking responsibility for work planning.
Provide focal point of contact for customers and construction staff.
Process material and equipment orders.
Manage key information flows through cycle of GT/IGT & DNO/IDNO processes.
Issue weekly whereabouts to Network Owners.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of the project.
Liaise with client and third parties to facilitate legals.
Process connection requests taking responsibility for planning with Network Owners.
Liaise with 3rd party contractors/suppliers and act as a port of call for any issues.
Create Work Requests for the Construction Teams.
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Submit requests for streetworks notices and permits ensuring compliance to NRSWA & TMA.
Process payments.
Handle queries from managers and employees effectively and provide solutions.
To carry out any other duties appropriate for a job of this nature.

Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Proactive and able to work on own initiative, or with minimal support.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with all levels.
Ability to prioritize their workload effectively with strong time management and organisational skills.
Emphasis on accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
Adaptable and responsive to change.
A strong working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft packages.
An excellent standard of numeracy and literacy with the ability to construct professional written correspondence to all stakeholders.
