The Purchase to Pay Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end PTP processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Supporting the PTP team to ensure accurate processing in line with compliance, the PTP Team Leader will liaise with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimising P2P workflows. This role is pivotal to deliver a seamless and efficient purchase to pay cycle, fostering collaboration, and delivering value to the organisation through leadership and innovation. Oversee the entire purchase-to-pay cycle, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing, and payments. Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. Address and resolve escalations or discrepancies in the procurement or payment process. Monitor team performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and reporting. Ownership of PTP reporting, ensuring all PTP activities comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and contractual agreements. Ensure team skills are developed and job rotation is in place in order to build a multi-skilled team. Support a culture of continuous improvement through root cause analysis, and problem solving supported by data. Ability to develop good working relationships with remote teams, internal customers and stakeholders. Ownership and accountability of reporting & controls, seeing issues through to resolution. Experience of leading a team that delivers to high standards. Ability to lead a culture of strict compliance, role modelling high standards of personal and professional integrity. Ability to find simple solutions for complex problems and work effectively to resolve issues. Experience of motivating and leading teams, creating an enjoyable and rewarding working environment.
