Skills & Experience
Essential Criteria
1. Experience of delivering Hard FM services to multi-site clients and contracts greater than £5M in value.
2. Experience of delivering Soft FM services including cleaning and security.
3. Management of contract cost sheets and P&L.
4. Data analysis.
5. Excellent communicator, able to convey information in a clear, simple and warm manner.
6. Accomplished problem solver.
7. Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
8. A full, clean driving licence.
9. IT literate including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
10. 5 - 10 Years post qualification engineering experience across different industrial sectors operating within a regulated environment.
11. Degree/Diploma level qualification in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years post qualification.
12. NEEBOSH General or equivalent.
13. Level 5 Management qualification.
Key Responsibilities
1. To act as the focal point for the customer care program ensuring its successful application.
2. To assist the Contract Team(s) as directed on the development and delivery of new business proposals.
3. Enhance our existing contract(s) by selling added benefits to clients.
4. Analysis of current contract(s) and assessment of their ongoing contribution to the profitable operation of the area / region and to meeting the region’s purpose.
5. Play an integral role in the development of regional strategy.
6. Adopt an appropriate profile with clients and ensure their needs are met.
7. Deliver monthly, Quarterly, and Annual service reports utilising data analysis to drive decision making and justify spending.
8. Drive a culture of right fix first time and self-delivery amongst the team.
9. Assist Operations Director in the development and delivery of regional Business strategy.
10. Develop, implement and monitor performance against output targets.
11. Act quickly/efficiently on issues arising from audits (e.g. audit close-outs).
12. Manage out of hours emergencies on client site(s).
13. Demonstrate significant improvements to the operations arising from analysis of feedback and changing business needs.
14. Ensure that the site utilities being managed are available to support the client’s production requirements.
15. Support the delivery of all site services within budget. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and tracking to plan for financial costing.
People Supervision & Development
1. Foster a positive and friendly working atmosphere for all team members.
2. Manage operational staff on site(s).
3. Facilitate/mentor all employees in meeting their individual needs utilising PDP’s.
4. Facilitate/mentor all teams in meeting their team needs.
5. Facilitate developmental/training requirements of teams & individuals.
6. Provide first line HR management on site(s).
7. Willingness to attend training programmes as requested.
8. Willingness to take on new skills to enhance the company’s profile and service offering, as per training received.
