Civils Site Manager Role – Job Spec \n\nBrief Outline \n\nAn industry leading company in the regeneration and civil engineering market requires a Site Manager to oversee a large project in the Northern region on a contract basis.\n\nThe Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing a project across a variety of sectors including Groundworks, Earthworks and Remediation. The role will involve ensuring schedules are followed, quality and health and safety procedures on site are adhered to. \n\nThe client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the projects and their progress. \n\nAbout our Client\n\nThe client has been active in the regeneration and civils sector for over 40 years with an established client base and consistent work across the UK. \nThe servicing offering includes; Earthworks, Remediation, Demolition, Enabling, Groundworks, S278, amongst other related areas. About the Role \n\nResponsibility for day to day management of allocated project. \n\nResponsibility for ensuring projects are completed on a timely basis within budget. \n\nTo liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, other managers and attend site meetings. \n\nCarry out method statements and risk assessments. \n\nEnsure all works are carried out under health and safety guidelines. \n\nEnsure that the highest standard of work is produced by all employees and sub-contractors. \n\nAssist other management in the overall planning and supervision of projects. About the Candidate \n\nPrevious experience in management of civil engineering, earthworks, or ground remediation sites \nCSCS card or equivalent \nFlexible self-starter with ability to prioritise \nDisplays strong leadership skills \nAnalytical and problem-solving skills \nPC literate\nCommercially aware \n\nPoints of Appeal \n\nFreedom within the role\nClear path for progression with route to higher management \nCompetitive salary and package including; car/ car allowance, pension private healthcare. \nCompany with a full order book
