We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Brixton, a category C Prison located in London.
HMP Brixton is a male prison with a capacity of 800 prisoners. It is one of the oldest prisons in England which is very busy in terms of healthcare and will be dealing with Code Red and Code blue responses.
Hours
Shift patterns of 3 on 4 off

37.5 hours per week (will have to make up half a day per month to complete the 37.5 hours per week due to the shift pattern)
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £50,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
* Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
* Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

* Qualified Paramedic
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Proven post-registration ambulance experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
