To assist with the slaughter and processing of cattle by carrying out duties on a production line.
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities
1. Safely and efficiently follow the line process the animal to specification using machinery, equipment and knife skills.
2. Achieve throughput, maximise yields, minimise waste, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
3. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of carcass dressing specifications.
4. Remove contamination and defects from carcass.
5. Maintain a sharp and sterile knife.
6. Movement of product around the department.
7. Ensure all relevant records and paperwork are maintained accurately.
