Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Stevenage
Contract Duration: 12-month contract
Pay: Up to £36p/h (Umbrella)
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that products are built efficiently and to budget.
* Compile and update Manufacturing Instructions.
* Design, commission, and prove associated tooling.
* Support the industrial validation process through the use of FMEAs, FAIs, etc.
* Resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
* Implement route card changes as a result of rework activities.
* Manage Configuration Control by embodying Design Modifications into the Manufacturing Instructions.
* Support the Non-Conformance Process using SAP.
Experience Required:
* Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 and Level 3 (ONC).
* Ability to interpret Design Drawings and produce Manufacturing Build Instructions for both Skilled and Semi-Skilled operators.
* Experience in Electronic Sub Assembly manufacture through to System level builds.
* Knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.
* Ability to understand and work to Company Processes and Procedures.
* Strong communication skills within the working group and at various levels of the organisation.
