Permanent or Interim / Contract or part time considered Hybrid/Office/Remote – one to two days a month in the office My client is a well-established independent mutual building society, who require a Prudential Risk and Credit Risk Manager to join their team. The position reports directly to the CRO. The Prudential and Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of a prudential and credit risk assurance and oversight programme/team, in line with the Society’s three lines of defence assurance framework and compliance with regulatory expectations. Responsibilities · Leadership and Management · Prudential Risk including ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plan · Credit Risk · Treasury Assurance and Oversight Requirements of the Role · A degree or equivalent industry experience. · At least 3 years’ experience within financial services. · Excellent analytical and investigatory capability. · Excellent communication skills. · Ability to adapt language depending on the audience, translating complex matters to a non-technical audience. · Experience of stakeholder management. · A can-do attitude, self-organised and decisive. Annual salary circa £80K to £100K, plus 10% discretionary bonus, plus 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days), plus 10% pension, 4 x annual salary life cover, plus MediCash health benefits.
