The Role:
* Carry out a range of duties associated with maintaining food preparation, service and waste management areas in a clean hygienic state with the Launceston General Hospital (LGH).
* Ability to maintain all food service equipment and surfaces in a clean and hygienic state.
* Experience in the use of food preparation equipment, together with knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to comply with, safe food handling requirements.
* Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions, and to cooperate with other personnel within the department to work successfully as a team.
* An understanding of, and ability to comply with, workplace health and safety requirements.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, shift worker, not working weekends but working Public Holidays, working 70 hours per fortnight, to commence as soon as you can join the team.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $57,130 to $59,443 per annum, Pro rata. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
