Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks, logging completion times and ensuring all required paperwork is up-to-date. React quickly to breakdowns and plant failures, ensuring systems are restored to serviceable order. Manage spare parts, providing parts lists and estimated timelines for any required remedial work. Conduct risk assessments (POWRA) to ensure safe working practices, with a focus on health and safety regulations. Operate a Permit to Work system, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements. Work in collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and the team to maintain high standards of service. Participate in the regional on-call rota, responding to breakdowns outside of standard working hours. Ensure plant rooms are tidy and compliant with safety standards, and maintain tools and test equipment. Engage in continuous professional development and training in additional trades, expanding your skillset across mechanical and other building systems.
