Job Description
Job Summary: The Scenic Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement and coordination of scenic elements for our themed location based entertainment projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of scenic components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supplier Coordination: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers specializing in scenic elements, ensuring they meet our quality standards and project requirements.
* Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process for scenic materials, including negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on scenic elements to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards.
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and project management teams to align supplier deliverables with project timelines and objectives.
* Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of scenic materials, track inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment as needed.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
* Vendor Performance: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement processes, supplier agreements, and quality control measures.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, preferably within the themed entertainment industry.
* Specialisation: Proven expertise in managing suppliers for scenic elements, including knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and industry standards.
* Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to assess and snag scenic installation.
