We are currently looking for a Yard Operative to work in our busy Scaffolding Yard based in Ellesmere Port.
Previous experience in this role is preferred, but not essential. A CSCS Card and fork lift truck licence will be an advantage.
Working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (Overtime available).
Job Description
* Inspect, pick and load scaffolding materials onto vehicles. Some heavy lifting is involved.
* Ensure all the equipment returned from site is sorted, serviced, and stored neatly ready for re-use.
* Equipment repairs and fabrication including preparing fittings.
* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Qualifications/Skills
* Previous construction experience/labouring/physical outdoor role an advantage.
* Forklift licence an advantage.
* Knowledge and experience of using power tools.
* Good level of physical fitness.
* Strong team-player who is willing to get stuck in.
* Problem solving, working on own initiative.
