About the Opportunity
You will be part of our wider project management community assisting with the delivery of a wide range of construction projects in the UK and overseas for both the public and private sectors. Example projects the team are involved with are a power station in the Falkland Islands, housing projects in Cyprus, a fuel storage facility in Singapore, new embassies in Cyprus, Rome and Turkmenistan and projects for the British Antarctic Survey. The work is very exciting and involves dealing with clients and a broad range of stakeholders. Each day as a graduate will offer new opportunities and challenges, ensuring no two days feel the same. You will be working under supervision of experienced Project Managers.
Our Project Management teams are located in Chester, Manchester, Southampton and London. Whilst we operate flexibly, we also value a team focus and a close team community. Therefore, we would like you to be in the office most of the time (5 days a week initially); this can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Your skills and experience
For this role, we believe your starting point is:
1. Having completed a BEng, MEng or MSc level degree in a building/civil engineering or related discipline or construction/project management.
2. Candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years for the purpose of security vetting.
3. A basic understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations.
4. A basic understanding of the various types of procurement methods for construction projects and the contract/commercial administration requirements.
5. Excellent communication and IT skills.
6. Ability to write high quality reports.
