Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Implement specialised teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning needs and abilities Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student requirements Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology to support learning Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Potential for remote or online tutoring Competitive rate of £20 - £30 per hour All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
