We are looking to speak with experienced repair and refurbishment engineers that are looking for the opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor technologies. No previous experience in the industry is required, however, preference will be given to candidates with a similar background.
What will I do?
You will be working on the refurbishment and test of advanced Semiconductor Ion Implantation equipment including:
1. Troubleshoot and repair of complex electrical and mechanical problems.
2. Work within a team refurbishing Ion Implantation Equipment.
3. Perform assembly rebuilds and preventive maintenance on all IBS products.
4. Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals during the installation, debugging, and refurbishment/repair of IBS equipment.
5. Complete standard documentation, procedures, forms, and comply with all ISO related procedures and processes.
6. Follow all established cleanroom cleanliness requirements, procedures, and protocols.
To thrive in this role, you will have
The ability to resolve complex electronic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical assembly, drive mechanisms and software systems problems. Maintain technical proficiency on semiconductor equipment. Interfaces with multiple departments to ensure consistent and effective communication. Build relationships with customers/vendors/department contacts.
7. Strong competence in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with ability to fault-find to component level.
8. Experience in care and inspection of plant, services, and equipment.
9. Strong analytical and decision-making capability
10. Excellent people skills and ability to influence and communicate effectively
11. Semiconductor equipment/Medical equipment/Capital equipment/Military experience would be beneficial.
12. HNC/degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or closely related subject, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical systems.
