Job Title: Operations Support Officer
Location: London, UK
Salary: £30,000-£34,000 per annum
My client are a highways and civils contractor operating within the London area, and are seeking an Operations/Project Management Support Officer. The individual will be required to help the delivery of highways projects by managing administrative processes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining effective documentation control.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide administrative support to Roads Teams.
·Attend and record meeting minutes; circulate and file appropriately.
·Liaise with the supply chain and monitor performance.
·Maintain trackers and update project programmes.
·Handle road space permits, abnormal loads mailbox, and weekly bulletins.
·Prepare monthly incident and accident reports.
·Support Health & Safety compliance and subcontractor management.
·Manage document control, procurement processes, and licences.
Requirements:
·Background in project admin, highways, or civil engineering (desirable).
·Knowledge of asset or contract management software (desirable).
·Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
·Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Driving licence desirable.
