We seek a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the design, installation, and commissioning of cutting-edge lithium ion battery production lines for the Electric Vehicle sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research, commission, and validate new equipment or modify existing equipment to prototype innovative electrode manufacturing methods and formats.
* Analyze production data to optimize manufacturing uptime, availability, and reliability metrics (yield, OEE, cycle time, quality) and identify bottlenecks to maximize throughput.
* Conduct root cause analysis through process and equipment expertise, correlating with upstream/downstream processes.
* Troubleshoot and recover processes using PLC, HMI, or tool management software, and implement improvements.
* Manage documentation, including machine and process specifications, drawings, BOM, spare parts, PFMEA, control plan, and process flow chart.
* Assist in industrialization activities, providing guidance and instruction on electrode manufacturing processes.
* Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends from technical reports and documentation.
Requirements:
* STEM degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering).
* Experience specifying, commissioning, and installing CAPEX machinery.
* Either a BS with 5+ years' relevant experience or an MS in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or equivalent.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing/Process Engineering fundamentals and methods.
* Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
