As the Head of Clinical Practice /Allied Health Professionals you are the Lead Clinician for TVC and will be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient care. You will lead across several key areas:
Clinical leadership for direct care staff
Developing a Nursing and AHP workforce strategy including training & development and procedural management
Cross system working to achieve best outcomes and continuous service developments across the MDT in all homes.
Produce a strategy for nursing that incorporates a range of evidence-based models of care Mental Health
Physical Health
Dementia
Ensure that practice is based on NICE quality and best practice standards
Develop and work proactively with AHPs across TVC to produce robust integrated governance arrangements to evidence Value for Money and positive quality of life outcomes for people we support
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide a professional clinical leadership on all aspects of quality, assurance, and resident safety within TVC homes, this will include the governance arrangements as part of the wider TVC Quality and compliance programme. As the Head of Clinical Practice and AHPs you will be part of a team of clinical and operation leads that is expected to deliver effective integrated clinical, operational, and financial performance of the services.
What you'll need to succeed
Registered clinical professional registered with the NMC.
Evidence of consolidating post qualification practice, preferably across a range of clinical settings
Has minimum three years relevant senior management experience in an operational/service improvement/commissioning function
Evidence of collaborative working with other agencies and bodies
Experience of driving change through strategic and innovative programmes
Experience of business planning, objective setting, and performance management experience
Can demonstrate successful financial management, including budget formulation, rigorous financial monitoring and control, and evaluating competing budgetary priorities
Educated to Masters level or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and experience.(see experience and work achievements)
A strong commitment to personal and professional development, maintaining an up-to-date personal portfolio
In-depth knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), NICE guidance
Advanced knowledge of the challenges facing health and social care
Knowledge of quality re-design tools, processes and techniques
Skills in using IT applications including, word, excel and outlook
