This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and friendly team within the Faculty of Foundation Learning and Inclusion. Successful applicants are likely to have had experience of working with young people with learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking and highly motivated Teacher (Programme Leader) and Tutor to teach on our Gateway programme and Foundation Learning courses across a range of levels. You’ll be expected to undertake teaching and tutoring roles, help with curriculum development, and market and promote courses.
You’ll have recent teaching experience, hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification and be able to demonstrate significant successful experience of teaching SEN students. A flexible approach and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are required. You’ll need to be a great communicator with good problem-solving skills. Your admin skills will be strong and you’ll be an effective team player.
