Our trainees rotate every 18 months to 2 years and your first placement will be confirmed before you join us. Your line manager, buddy and your qualified mentor will all work with you and provide encouragement and support throughout your training. We give our trainees the best chance of passing their exams first time by also: Providing a market competitive salary plus pay rises each time you pass key exams Partnering with an internationally recognised training provider Providing a generous amount of study leave – up to 50 days paid so that you can balance the demands of studying and working Funding students’ membership of the IFoA and examination fees Skills and experience we’re looking for: Showing commitment to actuarial exam progress by studying towards the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) examinations with a minimum of 6 exams having already been successfully attained (not exemptions) knowledge of life insurance and investment products and/or Solvency II reporting (Preferred, but not essential) A broad technical knowledge and understanding of actuarial principles, formulae and methodology. Highly numerate and analytical with a developed capability to interpret data and establish alternatives and solutions to complex problems. A high degree of computer literacy and strong excel skills.
