Teaching Personnel is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistants for a large and diverse specialist provision in northwest of Bristol operating from five sites and catering for pupils with Autism and a range of learning difficulties. The curriculum is both inclusive and ambitious and delivers across multiple key stages from EYFS to post 16. The federation is built of two schools in Henleaze and Redland and the federations’ vision is for every student to flourish and to develop independence and to be prepared for their future. Roles and Responsibilities: Being a supportive tool for vulnerable students within a mainstream setting. Helping students on a 1:1 basis to encourage their emotional / behavioural state within the lesson. Taking groups of pupils out of the classroom, helping with attaining the learning objective of the lesson. To build trusting and positive relationships with students. Not only to make the day more enjoyable, but to help excel in the purpose of the lesson. Working as a team with other staff members from both the school and our agency to create that pleasurable atmosphere Working with students in KS3 and KS4.
