3D Operational Assistant - 12 Month Mat Cover
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Operational Assistant to join our Image Production team at Next.
You will be part of an amazing 3D team working to deliver high quality 3D product imagery for the Next family of websites.
This is an extremely fast-paced role that covers both Next and Branded/Licensed ranges working to tight deadlines for each online launch.
It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and has data management experience, who wants to become an integral part of the 3D Team.
About the role
* Assist in the day-to-day operations of the 3D team, working closely with internal teams, to plan and organise the creation of 3D models and fabrics, including scanning of textures and sofa samples.
* Collaborate with 3D designers and technical teams to manage the workflow in line with the critical path, being able to prioritise effectively.
* Request and distribute product information to internal and external stakeholders responding to change quickly and ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
* Ensure the quality of the renders meets specified standards through thorough QC checks and verify the accuracy of associated metadata.
* Conduct an end-to-end review to confirm that imagery is correctly displayed on the website.
* This role demands a strong team player, with an ability to forward plan and competency in data management tools.
* You will be a focused, driven, hard-working individual that has the maturity and empathy to take direction well.
* You must be able to remain calm and professional while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
* Be proactively involved in all aspects of the 3D creation process from start to finish.
* Ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency in imagery that aligns with the studio’s creative vision.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all product information is efficiently captured and propose improvements.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the 3D team and within the studio, and promote a positive team dynamic.
* Communicate effectively with your Team Lead to establish clear, recognizable and achievable goals.
* Flexibility to work at other Next studios, external studios and on location when required.
About you
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Experience in data management, with knowledge of Photoshop being an advantage.
* Strong communication and listening skills.
* Previous experience working in a large, fast-paced creative studio environment.
* Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment.
