Working in the EUS team, you will be responsible for managing the Software and Device Lifecycle processes - to be delivered to an estate of over 40k+ devices. This will include liaising with vendors to determine support state and roadmaps. It is a pro-active role to ensure all software in the Windows EUS Build is in a supported state and the Devices remain supported (including a view against new Operating System versions). This must be done in a timely manner and maintain progress reporting.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
* This is a multifaceted role which will also have client engagement – therefore strong stakeholder management will be required, as well as organization and attention to detail.
* You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the refresh and lifecycle, to deliver continued End User Support to our clients.
Your skills and experience
* Subject Matter Expert in Release and Deployment Management
* Knowledge of Service Management Best Practice
* Computer literate, including a good working knowledge of relevant computer software
* ITIL V3/4 Foundation Certificate
* ITIL V3/4 Expert or ITIL4 Managing Professional or ITL4 Strategic Leader
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (DV) clearance. To obtain DV clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
