About The Role
Join our dynamic Sales Team as a Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth of FDM Group. In this role, you will actively seek and develop new business opportunities across diverse sectors, including Financial Services, Public Sector, Media, Retail, Travel, Healthcare, and Insurance. After completing FDM's comprehensive sales training, you’ll embark on a rewarding sales journey that offers significant career advancement opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you will manage the sales cycle from start to finish, collaborating closely with technical presales, marketing, legal, and HR teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Outreach: Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
* Lead Generation: Generate leads via various channels, including social media, networking events, and a variety of other sources.
* Contribute to daily stand-ups and regular group sales meetings to share insights and strategies.
* Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance KPIs on a weekly basis.
* Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, conversion metrics, and insights into performance.
* Engage with collaboration and networking tools, including Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn, to enhance client interactions.
* Gather client requirements and source suitable candidates from the FDM Skills Lab.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Grad Recruitment, University Partnerships, HR, Skills Lab, Technical Coaches, and Sales Management to achieve shared goals.
* Stay informed about industry and sector trends through proactive research.
About You
* 1-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience.
* A driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and business development.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Commercially savvy and target-oriented.
* Eager to learn and grow professionally.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
