Responsible for:
The post holder will be responsible for providing the coordination and administration for all End Point Assessment (EPA) activity. Supporting assessors, apprentices, employers and training providers throughout their EPA. This must be executed to a high and professional standard.
Job context:
IPP Education (IPPE) are an Ofqual recognised end point assessment organisation. The post holder is responsible for ensuring the effective administration of our end point assessment and support to our customers. The role also requires that they promote excellent customer service to IPPE customers and business departments.
Major responsibilities:
* Day-to-day administration of EPA to a high standard
* Manage the day to day upkeep of processes relevant to apprenticeship EPA function, ensuring they are fit for purpose and compliant to regulations
* Coordinate a variety of conflicting timetables
* Customer invoicing
* Track and reconcile all invoices in relation to the EPAs
* Provide support to all IPPE customers
* Carry out EPA registrations and bookings using internal and external systems
* Schedule the required assessments and resits
* Complete necessary compliance checks to ensure Gateway completion
* Ensure the necessary evidence of completion is collected and saved
* Support apprentices with booking requests and queries
* Monitor for conflicting priorities to ensure delivery of these responsibilities
* Co-ordinate delivery of all assessments either face to face or online
* Coordinate all assessments and resit assessments
* Ensure the e-learning platforms are kept up to date
* Prioritise own tasks
* Maintain all ISO 9001 processes for the EPA Department
* Resolve assessor, apprentice, employer and training providers queries and concerns
* Ensure personal objectives are met
* Track and report all results to the business
* Manage all EPA queries via central mailboxes within SLAs
* Work with the EPA Executive to ensure that Internal communications are updated to the business on processes, key dates and changes
* Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of Education and Skills Funding Agency regulations
* Work with the End Point Assessment Executive to scope new operational initiatives and requirements relating to EPA
* Work on the continuous improvement of processes and working practices, to build a scalable and effective EPA provision
* Maintain effective and professional stakeholder relationships
* Support the End Point Executive in the following:
o Achieving the overall departmental strategy
o Assist in the maintenance of all documentation such as customer correspondence, enrolment forms and course information, to ensure accuracy
* Assist the wider education team from time to time with additional IPPE qualification assessment co-ordination
Particular Challenge:
The main challenge is to maintain a consistently high standard of administrative provision whilst faced with demanding deadlines and conflicting timetables. The post holder will need to remain focused on the tasks to be completed.
It should be noted that this role is expected to evolve and, as a result, the job specification will be reviewed at the point of annual appraisal.

* Ability to use email, internet applications, MS Windows operating system, including Excel and tracking tools to support this role
* Ability to apply numerical skills to analyse data, interpretation of facts and figures presented in the form of statistical tables and diagrams, thinking critically and checking for errors or variance from targets
* Must be comfortable working within defined Key Performance Indicators and Service Levels
* Passionate about client service with a positive approach to dealing with people
* Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable to change, as the company and industry in which they are based is very fast paced and competitive
Other activities:
The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties to assist IPPE with its strategy objectives. This role also requires occasional travel, overnight stays, and weekend working.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages
* Experience of working with Apprentices (desirable)
* Experience of working within an educational environment (desirable)
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent management skills
* Minimum RQF Level 2 or equivalent education

Terms and Conditions:
Salary: From £24,500 pa gross
Working week: 37 hour working week (full-time)
Annual leave: 26 days annual leave per annum (plus bank holidays)
Location: Office-based, in Solihull.
